Hi, I’m Paul. Thank you very much for stopping by. I presume you’ve probably landed on this page by accident, but please don’t let that put you off.
I’ve been running this website on and off for a few years now, but recently decided that a fresh start was required. I won’t bore you with the details, you’ve got things to do, I know. But after an extensive redesign I am now ready to relaunch WONS.
My little blog.
In the past I may have been a little bit guilty of hiding behind my blog, lurking in the shadows if you like, occasionally pushing exciting products out into the spotlight for people like you to hopefully want to buy. Will I still be doing that now? Of course! This boy needs to fund his chocolate addiction somehow, you know. But the big difference this time around is that I want to take pride and ownership in my blog.
If you decide to stick around I’d like you to get to know the real me, whether you want to or not. So, as well as trying my best to convince you to buy some of my favourite homeware ranges, gadgets and lifestyle products, I will also occasionally like to go off-piste and ramble on about myself, my life and maybe some of the things I’ve been getting up to.
Don’t expect anything too exciting though. I mean, for the last few days all I’ve really been doing in my spare time is eating Easter Eggs and watching snooker. Edge-of-your-seat stuff, right there.
But what I’d really like to do with this first random ramblings post of mine is to hit you with a confession.
Now, admittedly, I haven’t got around to reading that infamous self-help guide from the 1930s yet (I’ve been busy), but I’m pretty sure that the first chapter of How to Win Friends and Influence People clearly states that you shouldn’t tell people that you have never seen Game of Thrones. Like, never. Not even a single episode. And you definitely shouldn’t tell them that you also have no desire or intention to start binge-watching it any time soon. That would be social suicide, right?
But that’s me, I’m afraid. Even though I know 99% of the population seem to be glued to each episode of this final series every Sunday/Monday night, for some reason it just never seemed to appeal to me. Maybe one day I’ll give it a go, who knows? But for this week, at least, I’ll probably just stick with the snooker!
Game of Thrones Gadgets & Gifts
For those of you who do love the show, here are a few Game of Thrones inspired gadgets and gifts you may be interested in. Remember, I have no shame; I need to earn commission so that I can buy more chocolate.
